Girl-led Conference on Saturday, May 13

Mark your calendars for a girl-led older girl conference on Saturday, May 13!

• Check here occasionally, for future details!

• The team has Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors. There are three committees: program, venue and promotion.

• The program committee is selecting topics and activities for the conference, and networking with local professionals and youth leaders. Topic ideas include food waste, fast fashion, plastics, climate and health, and local biodiversity

• A small group of adults is providing training and coaching for event planning, project management, networking, and teamwork. 

• Two GEA Team members attended the "Empowering Me: Older Girl Conference" on Saturday, October 8 at the GS Balboa Program Center (grades 7-12), realized that another conference could be planned and led by older girls!
